Our rent-to-own program allows you to rent an instrument and apply a portion of your rental fees towards the purchase of the instrument. This is a great option for those who are unsure if they want to commit to a purchase. Order online and I will deliver to school. PLEASE BE SURE TO CHOOSE CT BAND INSTRUMENTS FROM DEALER LIST. As a music teacher - I recommend this for students in strings programs who will need several size changes. Long term commitment.
CT Band does have loaners, but we do charge if you are an NEMC Client. Reason being - we never seem to get them back! Repairs are mailed to NEMC.

Milford currently uses Sound Innovations for String Orchestra. You will need to order rosin, and adjustable shoulder rest ( match to the instrument size) the book, and a cleaning kit for your instruments. I suggest a spare set of strings - I will fix CT Band units free of charge.
These are disposable so not part of rental program. NEMC has all materials in stock.
